The Christmas Visitors was written by Deborah Lock, and illustrated by Martina Peluso, and is published by Lion Hudson, UK. For this title, it was my job to provide sketched art direction for the cover, and to work with the designer and illustrator to ensure that each spread allowed sufficient copy room, used suitable character rendering for the age group and scenes depicted, and met the expectations of the author/commissioning editor.
